oil on 6x6 canvas This one took a couple of wipe offs before I saw it at a better angle. Then I still was groaning over getting the glass and reflections and shadows. Maybe I should try some smooth glass? And of course I complicated the stripes with a black scarf overlay. That made the piece darker, but if I hadn't used the scarf the background probably would have been too bold and crisp for the rest of the painting.
