It's a Magical World

I threw my bedding into the wash before going to work this morning. When I got home I went to put the wash into the dryer. I found the sink full and overflowed from the washer. There was a white scum over the floor. I thought it was laundry soap that didn't dissolve. "I'll just have to get a liquid detergent." I thought.

Then I opened up the washer. It wasn't the detergent that was the problem. That white scum was pulp. I'd washed a Calvin and Hobbs book with my bedding. The one readable comment from the book was Calvin's. "It's sort of ordinary I suppose. But I like to have it around." Seems a fitting phrase.

The title of the book: "It's a Magical World"
