Audrey and I are painting each other's portraits and Jim Akins is photographing us. The results will go in to a September show at the Downtown Senior Center - Milestone Gallery. I'm painting Audrey on a piece of found cardboard with tempera here, using a photo I took of her on my cell phone. I'm using a watercolor brush that has water in the handle.
Audrey has painted many paintings on cardboard; on the backs of cracker and cereal boxes.
Putting all the paintings together looks like a story board: close-up, distant shot, and mid-range.
