TJ McDowell Jr. - Triumphant Postlude SOLD

When given the assignment to paint TJ's farewell from the Board of Directors of Woods Charitable Fund I read the materials about his accomplishments and immediately thought of him as a Moses figure. Then the John Steuart Curry painting/mural that also depicted Moses was pointed out to me. Curry's painting, titled "Tragic Prelude" done in 1937 was an enjoyable painting to use as reference for my painting of TJ, "Triumphant Postlude."
